Kia ora,
Ko Aliyah Hazel Edwards toku ingoa. I am a young female artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts, Majoring in Lens-Based Practice at AUT.

As I enjoy all forms of art-making I do not limit myself to one medium, however I have an affinity for photography and lens-based practices. When working within this practice I involve and utilise a blend of both analogue and digital photography. My aim is to create work that evokes strong feelings, combining other art forms into my photographic work as a form of escapism for myself and my audience.

I have photographed for institutions and brands such as the Auckland Museum, Cuda Sisters, Charlotte Penman Jewellery, and Āhua Fashion Week, as well as providing event photography for art exhibitions and openings.
